Why I Chose To Specialize in Bariatric Surgery
Growing up, I liked building furniture with my father and brother. I was always good with my hands. Surgery allows me to continue doing that in medicine.
I wanted to work in minimally invasive surgery on the DaVinci robot. The best place to do that was with patients who suffer from morbid obesity because the robot offers them more surgical options. So I started to meet Bariatric patients and realized how much we could change their lives and what a huge impact we can make. I love seeing how surgery and hard work give them a second chance at living an active, healthy, happy life.
