Dr. Brown attended undergraduate school at Siena College in Albany, NY where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology. She attended St. George’s University School of Medicine as a Keith B. Taylor Global Scholar and split her time between England, Grenada, & New York. She became fluent in Spanish and provided volunteer services in Mexico, Belize, and the U.S.
Upon completion of her medical degree, she completed a residency in general surgery at Albany Medical Center in New York. After successfully finishing her 5-year residency, she completed a fellowship dedicated to advanced laparoscopy, bariatric weight loss surgery, and advanced gastrointestinal surgery.
Her special interests include minimally invasive robotic surgery, anti-reflux procedures, upper endoscopy, and medical and surgical weight loss. She also treats a wide range of gallbladder, stomach, colon, and appendiceal disorders.
